USB Type-C is the new USB standard which is incorporated in Apple’s new MacBook and also in other words USB Type-C is a tiny physical connector. The connector itself can support various exciting new USB standard like USB 3.1 and USB power delivery (USB PD). The standard USB connector you’re most familiar with is USB Type-A. USB-C could replace most power adapters as a standard in the future; it is possible because the USB-C standard supports at least 100 watts of power delivery.
